My friend, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. What is the Gospel?

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (Bible; 1Corintians 15:3-4).

Who Christ Jesus is, His God appointed work of dying for your sin, His victory over sin and death in His bodily resurrection, and the authority and trustworthiness of God’s scriptures are all addressed on this page.

God created you with an eternal purpose, but your sin against God is offensive to God, as is easy to imagine. But God has chosen to love you regardless, and has taken it entirely upon Himself to reconcile you to Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures teach us, “…that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing [placing to one’s account] their trespasses [breaking God’s laws] unto them… Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he [God] hath made him [Christ Jesus] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
